Im looking into buying a "3" branded V3x, but another hofo member told me that the web sessions have some sort of issue, meaning I would not be able to go online with WAP. Any other v3x owners having this problem? I would think an unlocked phone woudnt have this problem but perhaps something is different with this particular model?

Ideally I would get the blue unbranded version but it seems pretty hard to find.

Any help with this?

Hi Proenginepower,

I have the moto v3x on 3g pay as you go, I found that I need to pay £1 to gain access to other wap sites. I think it'll cost me £100+ to get this mean machine unlocked from 3.

As I understand it getting the V3X unlocked won't help... 3 operate a "walled garden" which is a set of content they offer. To browse the majority of mobile websites you need to get the Mobile Web add on.

It used to cost £2.50, but now there are a load of other options - check out the details on the 3G forum ( www.3g.co.uk ) - including a zero cost pay as you use casual web site option. It doesn't seem to be complete functionality, but it's a step in the right direction.
