Text Mess. Stopped Working V635(help)

I was messing with my v635 trying to get my mms working. i have all the settings for the mms, but i still cant get it to work. Now my text messaging l DOESNT work. any suggestions would be a big help.

figured it out my sim car appears to be going bad .. i put one of the sim cards from one of the other phones in the family plan and it text and accessed wap just fine. will have to get a new sim card

went to the cingular store and i did have one of the bad sims cards .. replaced sim and all is good.
