How to delete all Motorola Drivers and everything?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

Everytime I connect my phone to MPT, it doesn't get detected. It also doesn't get installed. I can connect it, and mpt will just sit there "installing" it and then there is a Windows popup that says the new hardware might not function correctly. In my Device Manager, there is an Unknow device labeled Motorola Phone (V600). I've tried deleting that, but that doesn't help mpt. I have the newest version.

How do I delete all installed drivers and everything? I just want to get a fresh start with mpt.

Thanks!

Can somebody help me delete all the modem drivers and everything?

Thanks!

When I plug it to the computer when MPT says so, there's always a problem with installation and the hardware might not work...

you need to go into your PC's registry, and delete from there.

I found it, and there wasn't any Vid_22b8&Pid_4901 but Vid_22b8&Pid_4902 with my phone stuff in it so I deleted it.

Then I plugged the phone back in and it STILL got that error, device may not function properly.

When the found new hardware wizard starts, try pointing it to c:\program files\motorola phone tools\inf\win2k_xp_usb_drivers (or update the drivers for the motorola phone v600 and point to that directory.
Also, make sure you aren't plugging into a usb port on the front of the computer, or in a hub.

when i had the same problem, i just deleted those registry keys, restarted, and installed again, note that u have to install MPT, THEN p2kman, otherwise it wont work.
