v3i Mobile Phone tools Not connecting? Other Program?

When I first got my v3i I put some ringtones and pictures on my phone using mobile phone tools no problem.
I just today tried to add some more and mobile phone tools says "Phone Not Connected" I thought this was really odd.. I Am wondering if anyone else has had this problem
or if there is another program that allows you to just put ringtones and pictures on?
I am really new to all of this so any help is greatly appreciated

Run Live update on MPT to the most current version..

you don't need any program, change the phone connection as memory card, and use as a storage media. transfer data by usb or BT.
