I am trying to update firmware on my sony ericsson T630. I bought a DCU-11 USB cable for this purpose, and installed the software that came with the cable. I also downloaded the Sony Update Service software and installed it. The problem is that the Sony Update Service Software does not see the phone attached to the DCU-11 cable.

How do I go about updating the firmware in this phone? Do I need anything different then DCU-11 cable? What is exactly the procedure? Please help.

I have been hunting for a way to update firmware with a DCU-11 Cable and there doesnt seem to be a solution

...YET. On the Wotan site, they do mention that the funtionality is not 'currently' available. Im waiting to hear back when it's likely (if ever) to be released.

Good luck...if you do happen to find away, I would be VERY interested to know.

Check my post, I found a way to mod your DCU-11. Havent decided if I'm going to try it yet...let me know what you think!
