I hope someone who works at Cingular can tell me if this is a common problem. I signed up for a new contract with Cingular and I received a welcoming e-mail with a coupon code for a free graphic or ringtone download fom the Cingular Media website. I click on the link contained in the e-mail and proceed to select the graphic I want and follow all the steps on the webpage. When I go to enter the discount code at checkout I get a message telling me that it is not a valid discount code. I've rechecked the code number several times to make sure I was typing in the correct number and I've even tried it with different internet browsers and I still get the same message. Other than calling Cingular customer service to find out what's going on, can you guys think of anything I could do differently to get the Media site to accept the coupon code?
