Hi, I just purchased a brand new ROKR today. I am wondering, what is the newest (the latest) monster pack for ROKR.

does anyone know the differences between the 42R and 47R, apart from the speed and less lagging

Actually for a real ROKR I thought 45R was the newest, available as a download that is.

there is no link, you must buy the official hk version, and take it to moto service center in hk to upgrade.

Can you tell us any differences between 42R/45R and any chances of this being leaked?

Im really looking for the slow picture capture problem ( where the actual pic doesnt look like the preview )

the 42R i had b4 upgrading to 47R, did not have the slow caption problem, the actual preview is the same as the picture itself.

itunes itself runs a little faster, even running in the background, operating other functions still have the lagging, but has improved a little, i think the sound is a little louder.

Hmm 47R is available. Now we want it but we have no chance for backup. Have you tried ramldr? Can you tell me the Flex and DSP version?

where can i get jbenchmark from, I can give the flex and dsp when i get home and use the p2k, but i have no idea how to use ramldr, my phone cannot show the phones detail like my E770 from phone status, so you have to wait.

The score is better. Image manipulation, User interface is better. Only text is a little bit slower. But it's a good score. DSP is under settings-phone status-other information-dsp s/w version

even b4 the upgrade, my rokr does not have this in the settings, as I said earlier when compared with my previous mp 42R, all i notice is the increase of speed and less lagging and loudness of listening to mp3, all settings and menu functions remain the same, I was happy with the 42R, but since they have the upgrade, why not try it, I can always ask them to down grade it back to 42R if I done like it.
it doesn't cost me antthing.

btw the 42R and 47R mp i used is the offical f/w with 004D lang pack from moto hk, so unless some one finds a way to backup the rokr, I don't think I can share it, unless this mp is leaked out for ppl to dl.

sorry I have'nt messed around with seem, I still don't understand how it works, I'll give it a pass, don't wanna kill my phone.

btw I've just deleted my itunes files by mistake, so itunes does'nt work for me now, can someone copy the itunes files for me, if not i'll have to take my rokr to moto after chinese new year to have it reflashed again.

Hi kms-lai,
I read some time ago that someone here, I think he was krazedout, found out that as long as you exclude the pds zone, you can make a backup from real rokr, though not a full one. If that is the case, perhaps you can try to use flashbackup to make a custom range backup of 10040000-10CFFFFF, the dsp and flash. That's all we need to make a reflash for both rokr and e398. Thanks.

I cannot connect my rokr to the PC with flashbackup2.5, all the other p2k programs works.

correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it risky that if something went wrong you go back to your Moto Center to get a reflashed? They might say that you're messing with the phone internally and thus "voids" your warranty??

Or it isn't against the warranty?

hmm, now that's interesting.
I guess adding themes/skins/funlights will be fine. Hmm... I'm going to the Motorola Center here in the Philippines tomorrow to get my version up to 47R, might as well delete the skins and funlights I added for now. They'll surely ask how I got those stuff installed since ROKR E1 network-support here is still to be started by the two giant networks here (Smart and Globe).

on the video camera with same settings, the lenght vary between 33sec to 50sec.

don't ask me why.

lets just put it in simple terms, anything that uses p2k programs to alter any parts of the phone will void warranty.

as long as they don't find out you are still under warranty

Hoping you'll be successful in pursuing those guys to do the upgrade, been there before, they just reffered me to Smartnet. Just in case you are successful, could you make a full backup using MFF and could you post it via rapid share or megaupload...Thanks in advance man! Mabuhay!
