PEBL Voicemail with T-mobile?

Hey guys,

Just got off a phone call with T-mobile support who said that in a nutshell, if you don't buy a phone from T-mobile, they don't guarantee that you will receive the voicemail "icon" ...

I'm considering buying an unbranded PEBL from WirelessImports or Ebay - I'm wondering if I'm going to face the same problem? I just got a Moto L6 for my girlfriend - and it doesn't work for her either.

Anyone who has an unbranded PEBL that has had voicemail issues?

I'm not with T-Mobile - but rather with a more local carrier that's more or less part of the Cingular network. I had no problems getting all functions of my un-branded PEBL to work on their network - including voice mail and the GPRS browser (I had an unlocked web session file from my V3 and manually entered all the settings to get that to work).

I love the PEBL.

If you get a phone and you don't get the VM icon, you can do a simple seem edit to fix that.
