v635 volume

I have had the v635 for almost 8 months now. The volume on the handset is so low I can not hear the caller. The speakerphone, bluetooth headset, and aux headset all work perfect. I have never modded the phone in any fashion. Besides sending this out for repair, is there anything I can do to fix this?
