MPT Multimedia Center icon grayed out - Razr

I'm using my Verizon, Razr with MPT 3.28. The software and drivers are working fine but the multimedia center icon is grayed out. Can anyone help me with this?
Does this have to be unlocked. I recall I had the same problem when i was using my Motorola E815 and I had to choose the E815m from the CDMA device list to get it to work.

uhm, try upgrading your version to 4.04b, it might solve the problem

Don't ask for links to retail software.
The V3C with Verizon has the file transfer abilities disabled. You'll have to hack your phone I think, to transfer files.
