I was wondering if there was anyone out there that can help me wit my proble. I Want to put a recorded sounds as a ringtone on my LG9800 phone. Can any one help me out wit a step by step instruction to my solution if there is one.

I too am wondering on how to accomplish this. although I have an 8100.

I used to do that with my 6000, sadly, you can't do it with the 9800. Your best bet is to get a cheap USB cable from eBay and download BitPim to make your own rigntones, like I did.

it can be done but like posted above you must have a usb cord a minisd card and bitpim
