(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I just bought an L7 and everything is working great except the Roaming icon is always on the screen.

I went to:

Settings--> Network

Here are my choices & current settings:

Network Setup:
Band: Automatic
Type: Manual
Speed: Medium

Available Networks:
T-Mobile---> View---> 310-260 (clicked Register)
Cingular---> View---> 310-410
Cingular---> View---> 310-380

My Network List:
1) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-200 Priority:1
2) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-210 Priority:2
3) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-270 Priority:3
4) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-160 Priority:4
5) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-220 Priority:5
6) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-200 Priority:1
7) T-Mobile D---> View---> 310-240 Priority:6
8) T-Mobile---> View---> 262-01 Priority:7
9) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-660 Priority:8
10) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-230 Priority:9
11) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-250 Priority:10
12) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-260 Priority:11
13) T-Mobile---> View---> 310-310 Priority:12
(I have the option to select one of them and Add) Not sure what to do here!

Service Tone: Off (not sure what this is/does)
Network Jingle: Off (not sure what this is/does)
Drop Call Tone: On

I can't seem to find a way to keep this from happening. I'm a T-Mobile U.S. customer.

Anyone have a solution?

Many Thanks!

Sonic

Bump...

I get a similar thing... I bought my SLVR on eBay. It might have been from Germany originally. My "roaming" icon is always on. I am in my home area, Cingular. My "network list" has two Cingular entries, at "priority" #3 and #5. Rogers and Edge are the number 1 and 2.

Am I REALLY roaming?!?
