Hi Guys
GF and I picked up a couple of these phones a week back and have been very happy with them (just received unlock codes)
I have one problem and a quick couple of questions I hope you can help me out with.
1st off I am having problems with the charging of my phone. When plug the charger in the external display stays lit up and does not turn off until the charger is removed. My GF's acts as expected and lights up for a few seconds then turns off. This morning I tried a quick test with the chargers and it appears when I use my GF's charger my phone works correctly again. Unfortunately she isn't home so I can't test her phone with my charger but has anyone ever heard of this problem with chargers/phones before? Obviously I'm hoping if anything it's my charger and not the phone but it will still be a hassle to go and get it replaced.
Onto the questions.
1. Is there a way to easily show the suburb you are in on the phone i.e replace the yes optus with whatever suburb the phone is getting signal from.
2. Could somebody confirm the optus ISP (Australia) settings that need to be put in to use my exetel email address from the phone (APN, DNS, SMTP server etc)
3. In the address book how do I make it show just the entries on the phone and not the sim (have two of every entry) without actually deleting the entries off the sim?
4. When Paired with the bluetooth headset (hs820?) is the headset itself meant to ring?
5. Anyway to prevent the battery charging from a computer usb port (I think this feature is great but being a new battery I'm pretty sure the whole bunch of little charge ups and downs isn't doing it a whole lot of good)
thanks in advance
