Hey all -

So I downloaded the 3GP converter. Took me a few tries to get it going but now I have it working.

Then I realized that VLC Media Player http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ would let me transcode DVD video into Mp4...

Oooooh.

Ok, so I tossed in a DVD of my son's (old Spidey episodes) and transcoded it. Once the file was done, I used the 3GP converter on it - and it was done.

About 15 minutes of video - 40 MB. Oh well. Let's check it out.

Well, I transcoded it using Mp4 video at 16 KB p/s and MP4 audio at the same 16 Kb/s.

But when I play the video on the phone itself, the video is always lagging a few seconds behind. Any way possible to get the video to match up?

Thanks all - now I'm getting the hang of it - just want to get it perfect!

I had this same problem but found the solution just make sure to set it at QCIF instead of QVGA.....u can stick iwth either normal or high on QCIF trust me doing this u will instantly see no lag and the video would be smooth like a girls booty iwth butter

Thanks Trainphantom, I've been looking all over for this hint. It worked very well.
