I only see two band on this phone, just got one from china.

only 900 1800, should i flash it to 850 1800 or i had been fraud?

I think you have to manually switch from either 900/1800 or 850/1900...sorry there isn't too much posted about this phone, just that it came out unannounced.

Wait i just read the specs on gsmarena, there are two versions 900/1800 and 850/1900, you got yours from China 900/1800 best to return it or resell it to a non-North America buyer, it's useless in North America and can't be flashed, it needs the hardware.

The menu path to switch to US bands (850/1900mhz) is as follows:

Menu>3.Calls>2.Network-Services>6.Select-Band>850/1900mhz>OK (action key)

You may not see the "6. Select-Band" option under Network Services, as you have to scroll down to make it visible on the small display

I got that far but I am trying to find out how to change the settings so I can use medianet for cingular. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any and all help!
