I'm trying to learn Cingular's commission structure in the Direct channel( Retail Stores). I'm comparing the indirect and B2B channels against the Direct channel.
How do sales commissions vary by the type of plan (e.g., different voice MRC: $39.99 versus $69.99) and for data add-ons packages? Any details on family plans -- what is the level of commission paid for the initial 2 lines and for each add-on $9.99 line? Better yet how does the Direct channel's commissions structure work?

Tier structure- pretty much anything offered is at least a T2 up to $45.00/mo. including the anchor lines of FamilyTalk plans. T5 is the highest, at $75.00/mo.+ and FamilyTalk add-a-line activations don't count for much, at essentially a T1 level.
T4 activations with a few verticals and a couple accessories thrown in are awesome sales (and the most common for me), regardless of your commission structure. So you can imagine why they try to push plans $69.99 and higher, as many verts as possible and a car charger and leather case with every sale possible.
