890 sterling sim free, which is 1,369 euro, or $1427 USD. What a rip off!!!!!!!!!!!

seems to be strange pricing structure in expansy, as i posted before £890 sterling = 1369 euro= $1427USD using currency converter.

However expans usa offers at $1200 USD and expans france offers sim free at €1450. Whats going on there?

I don't think the head is talking to the tail.
I have also noticed some interface changes. Perhaps they are seeing some growing pains because of the upgrade.

Yeah.... Expansys, E-bay, GSM Phone source, ACS Phones... all of them charge exorbiant amounts for the import commercial version... prices ranging from $1200-1800 USD.... u can get a notebook for this price... I feel sorry for the people who buy from those places and did not know better especially when mobilefly and UAEmall are selling theirs for the $799-812 USD range.... If people were just patient and wait a few weeks, the price will probably drop to $600-700 range..... you people are getting ripped off......

The price with shipping is about $1220 USD. UAEmall is selling the phone for $799 but that is before shipping, import tax, bla, bla, bla...which may turn out to be at least $1000....btw: on the sony ericsson USA site, the P800 is no longer listed under "coming soon"; its been moved to "products". At this point, I am asuming that the P800 will be released in the US in the very near future so i would rather wait for the official US launch to get a "sane" price.

Does anyone know the official release price for the Sony Ericsson P800 without carrier subsidy in the US?? Are they releasing it at the same time in Canada?? I live in Canada.... getting a import from the US makes alot more sense for me than Singapore (mobilefly) or United Arab Emirates (UAE mall).......

The street price of the P800 in the UAE has fallen to UAE Dirhams 2500 the last time I checked about 4 or 5 days ago...In US $ that is $670 more or less a few $
