which mmc reader are u using? looks like it might not be supported by the software...or maybe the program is corrupted~

In Device Manager the name is "Generic STORAGE DEVICE USB Device", but my PC is a Fujitsu Siemens Scaleo P, and probably the card-reader is Siemens. The software is fine and the device is suported, windows XP crashes while trying to acces the card.

tyr with other card readers...or try dl'ing the software from another place and see if the error still occurs~

I'll try some other card readers...that's the only thing I got right now...but, from what I know, there is no card reader that can actually read a blocked MMC. Try it yourself: set a password on your n-gage, remove the card and try to read it with any card reader. If someone can do this, try using even the MMC Medic, maybe you can find out something I don't know...
Thanks angel wing for your suport so far...

You might try a program called MMC Password. Supposedly, it'll show you the password. I haven't tried it so it's your call on whether to try it.

7Tools might also help:

i've sold my n-gage.....and the card ..i've fixed it at a gsm-service...actually you can't do it at home..you don't have the right equipment ..the tools they had there...first they used a magnetic field, then a special card reader, that costs more than 100 euro, that's about 130$.. I've paid 6 euro thanks a lot to those who replied..
