i had a dead v600 which would not go into bootldr mode.
shorted pins 13-14, used moto repair studio to clean it up and flashed with TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.58R_LP0039_JPJAVA_G_0B_TRIPLET_08 _01R_SE7400AXXXX1C9_1FF.shx.
At this point the phone works great.
After that i used the 72r full flash (TRIPLETS_G_0B.09.72R_LP0032_JPJAVA_G_0B_TRIPLET_0 4_05R_SE6424AXXT11D4_1FF.shx) but the phone would not boot any more.
i can get it into bootloader mode by holding * & # keys and flash it again w/ 58r to get it to work.
any ideas or comments?

bump.
nobody knows why the phone only works w/ 58r and not 72r?

to get from 58R to 72R you have to try modify you pds, assuming you don't have a backup that is. have a read of this http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...002#post6496002 . Also i managed to change a revived phone by using pds editor and changing the pds seems to make sure there all type 2006.

Wow, this thread is awesome...
I just revived a V600 that I killed by messing with the PDS stuff, without knowing what I was doing.
To think that I found this while trying to fix the stupid VM text message thing.
