Nokia 6682 firmware help.

I need to know how to get my firmware update on my phone. I am tired of the constant problems it has. Like restarting on its own or turning off completely. It gets really annoying after a while and especially when you miss an important phone call. So can someone tell me how to get it upgraded. Either by having to send it to Cingular or send it back to Nokia. Thanks.
