E815 Seem Edit Problem

I've got my E815 plugged in, and in Suspend Mode.
P2K Says it's connected. I read a seem, and nothing happens. I can save that seem if I want, Save it back to the phone, but nothing shows up in the box where all the hex information should be showing up. What am I doing wrong?

what do u mean u can save it if when u read it nothing happens? which programs do u use? i use PST + p2kseem and it works (for the most part =\)

I use those two as well. When I load up p2kseem, and I hit the "load from phone" button.. the big text-field in the top left where all the hex information would be.. it blank. Nothing loads. I've tried giving it time, but it just doesn't do anything for some reason.

Noo. I'm suspending and using P2Kseem.

sorry, to clarify, i meant use PST with p2kseem. P2kseem sometimes doesnt work for me... after I edit one seem and try to edit another, when i click "load from phone" it does nothing. If I restart the program it works tho. but it sounds like you can't even get it to work the first time?

I know this is an old thread but I have the same problem. I have the .03 firmware and I have tried the PST method and just manually suspending the phone. I can get P2k to connect and I load the seem from the phone but nothing shows up. I have tried using other hacked seems from other members and when I load the file all of the numbers and info show but not with my seems. All of the drivers are installed and I have read Mark's page, and the nuclear page. None of the seem edits load onto my phone either. It says it loads but none of the features actually activate even after a reset. Anyone know what could be the problem?

Are you using the proper numbers: seem 2742, bytes 0000, record 0001?

I thought the bytes were supposed to read 7a?

I'm having the same problem. I followed the nuclear elephant directions twice. Both on clean reinstalls of XP. Both times it went through and installed all 6 drivers, and P2K shows it as connected, but when I press "load from phone" nothing happens. It gives me an hour glass for a bit, then goes away. No data loaded, no errors. I have no idea what to try now??

Now, I've seen the following cause you to click LOAD in p2kseem for v710, and have no values read from the phone...

1. Trying to use the "suspend trick" from NuclearElephant's page. - Try using PST 7.23 or MSU instead.
2. Using "older" P2K.INF/P2k.SYS drivers. - use the ones I have on my pages, or the ones included with MSU.
3. Using PST v7.11 - Try using PST v7.23 or newer, or MSU.
4. Improper values for Seem or Bytes (h)...
5. Using the "straight" P2KSeem (like available at motomodders), rather than the SD Modified P2KSeem for V710 - Grab the copy off my pages..

I found that MSU program and it FINALLY WORKED! Which is sweet because I deleted windows thank god. But somewhere along the line EDVO got reenabled. I shut it off again. Not only does killing EDVO give me longer battery life, it gives me way better signal for regular phone calls.
