I'm curious if you are from Melbourne Florida or Melbourne Australia. Because, while I think Cingular CS is pretty lame, I've never met such a big bunch of retards as I did in a few Australian cell phone stores.

Why not put in your own number when calling in so it gets forwarded to customer service . Its not like any of the outsourced people get a screen pop anyway.

at least when a call you make gets routed to collections, they answer. In CS, we're constantly getting a message that collections is closed and its the middle of the damned day.

yeah sorry to hear bout that crappy call you had. i know first hand that there r some stupid people in the collections dept and trust me its partly cingular that made him say what he did. stupid PAR and the stats that collections has basically pushes the rep away from transfering calls. its frowned upon if u transfer so most reps find anyway they can to not tranfer a call just to pass their stats for the day. luckily they have loosened up a bit on these this year so hopefully ull get less of this bull, but hey its no excuse nontheless no one should be denied a transfer if they ask for it especially when u know the call woulda just routed back to collections in your case.....

anyways, just pointing out my opinion from the collections standpoint

is it bad that i sigh in relief when i get 2 specific people from cs and C&A when i need to call them?

course i always remind them they are the best out of all reps from cs. just tryin to raise their morale a bit. dont want my 2 fav reps to leave us.

oh man, you made me fall out the chair with that one.

I like the ones that tell the customer that their phone is broken and they need to go exchange it at the store for a new one.... OR you can get a free upgrade.

im pretty sure reps who do that do it to simply get them off the phone because: a: something to do with calls they get (ask cs reps here whatever they get yelled at)

b: simply want to get off the phone due to they're getting off work, or just dont want to deal with them anymore.

im going with B.

I can walk upstairs and smack them all around for you if you want. I'm internal and I freakin' hate 99 percent of those care reps...They don't know crap. I know my stuff though, so I'm cool...
