Ok so in my office we use several abbreviations(sp) to describe different issues. Just wondering what everyone else does.

Example:
ESO: Equipment Smarter Than Operator
Cust comes in " my fone dont work" b/c its not on
thats ESO i've actually put this in account notes.

id 10 t Form
this works great for the FNG's in ur store
great work now ask Joe for an id 10 t form (ID10T) to finish up.

FNG
F****n New Guy

just curious.

Hey, I wouldn't go callin you folks names!! It isnt easy dealing with the public and I realize you're just trying to make a livin' like the rest of us.

I recall my stepdad telling me about the day he was in Circuit City a few months ago and a customer was rippin' into the Verizon sales rep, I mean she was screamin at him and swearin' that she was gonna get him fired. It was all over an issue with a phone battery and she thought she deserved a new phone (free of course). My stepdad said he felt so sorry for the poor guy, she was just an awful rude woman and he kept calmly trying to explain the situation with her but she would have none of that. She even got his supervisor involved.

So I can say i understand where you're coming from and I always try to be kind with any sales or cs rep i deal with.

I just shudder to think that when i leave the store they are all having a good chuckle behind my back

come on pal...lighten up. if you work in a store you should be able to relate to everyones situation. if you don't work in a store then mind your own busines. it's nice to be able to have a little fun at other peoples expense.

okay obviously you don't work for cingular in any way. so yes, we are probably laughing at you when you come in and ask a silly question.

I did work in retail a few years ago, I understand the public can be nasty to work with. read my second post.
