E815 goes into powersave mode?

When I'm in a weak reception area my E-815 sometimes goes into powersave mode. To make or receive calls I have to turn it off and then back on. Is this normal? Is there any way to stop it from going into power save? It only happens when I'm at my cabin in upper michigan. I've missed many calls because of this! This is the only thing I dislike about this phone, Please Help!!!!!
P.S. This is not the same power save mode that contols the keyboard lighting.

Your phone goes into powersave mode when you are out of a coverage area for an extended period of time. Its possible you don't have an accurate PRL on the phone, just dial *228 then press SEND (and select opt. 2) and hopefully it will work.
Other than that, I dont think theres any other way. If you do that and it still doesn't work, your probably roaming on a bad network or something.
