So, the prorated ETF is going bye bye and now the ETF is a flat $175 even if you have 3 hours left on your contract starting Feb. 6. I like it.

Smart Limits...interesting feature. Not fully developed yet but customers will be able to limit users on their FT plans to x amount of minutes and x amount of text via the web sometime in May. Other possiblitites have been stated with this release but nothing concrete except for text and minutes starting off.

Oh, just got some news about the moto L7. Its not out yet, and its still a motorola.

I thought that was a state law that allowed for pro-rated ETFs... yet another Blue policy picked up. Yeehah.

Halle-freaking-lujah. Expand it to data and ringtones and we have a winner here.

What's your source?

Posted by: BellaDea

it was in CSP i believe.....

Out here in the MTZ the ETF has always been $150.00. I remember when AT&T had prorated ETF's way back in the day. $10 per month left on the contract......... *sigh* the good old days....

I about pooped myself laughing at that one.

Yeah the new ETF thing is on CSP. Contracts signed before Feb. whatever will still have their current contracted ETF (prorated or 150, whichever is appropriate) but any contract signed after the date will have flat 175. ETFs are kinda stupid nowadays, they are the same for every carrier and most people will either wait for the contract to end or just pay it anyways. don't get alot of complaints about them.

As for the Smart Limits, good freakin idea. Will DEFINITELY get alot more add-a-lines with that. And to whoever, you CAN limit ringtones and downloads and stuff already, Parental Control or soemthing like that.

I'm really looking forward to this Smart Limits thing. Sounds like a phenomenal idea.

ETFs are going up from 150 to 175?

Is that everywhere? Here in NC it's 240...prorated $10/month for a 2 year and $20/month for a 1 year. (as of now anyway)
