I don't think the e317 is a fair replacement! First the e317 came out in Q3 of 2004 and the p207 in mid 2005. Second the screen is smaller and only 65k colors compared to 262k. Also, no speech to text (even though i didn't use it often). I could go on but you get the idea. Basically what I'm asking is if anyone has had a similar experience with insurance, and if arguing with them will get me anywhere closer to a more fair replacement. I'm not looking to take advantage of them here I just don't think its a fair trade |

Call Cingular CS and tell them that you're unhappy with lockline and they should be willing to work something out with you, it worked for me.

When they decide to send you a refurbished phone for the near new one that you had lost. That is not sending you a comparable phone. I had a P207 that they replaced with a v551. They claim comparable, they are both camera phones... The V551 is a different make, weighs more, worse battery life, no voicestream, etc.. it is the eqivelant of having your wrecked Lexus being replaced by a Toyota. The biggest claim in the upcoming suit is that when the charge you your deductable you are being overcharged for the phone since you are getting a refurbished unit. |
