V300 Stopped working

I purchased two V300 about 14 months ago. One just stopped working for unknown reason. I can get the phone to charge sometimes but the phone sucks the juice out within the hour. I have ruled the battery out as the problem, by switching the battery of the working phone. I also purchased anew battery and no differents. Any ideas that I can try?

My warrant is out but I have a contract with T-mobile for 6 more months. T-mobile will be happy to sell me a new phone for $100.00 but this is not a financial option at this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

sounds like u have a short in that phone somewhere. did u get it wet? u might try take phone apart and look for the short. u can use some alcohol on q-tip to try clean it off if u see anything "funky".

no, it did not get wet. ..I took both phones apart to compare the working one to the broken one but did not see any differences .... nothing funky...I went ahead and cleaned the connection away but nothing else..Are there any other parts I should clean? Any other suggestion?? Thank you..
