E1000 Dropping Calls

I'm using an E1000 with T-Mobile service in Phoenix AZ in 2G mode (was originally a 3 branded). It works fine except that after about five and a half minutes on a call, the call drops. Every time. Anyone else experienced this and know how to fix it? I'm guessing that there may be some kind of bug in the power management software.

hi have you changed the net work band to 900/1800
under network/network setup/band
this need to be done to keep it in 2g mode
