I know this sounds a bit stupid (but bear with me)

So my new v3i razr just arrived and i'm trying to put on the battery cover when i place the little "piece" of plastic on the bottom of the battery cover into where it's suppose to go, then i "click" the cover into place...one side of the battery cover always seems to be not fully on, no matter what i try...

..so basically i was just wondering if you were supposed "click-it" into place then just push down on the one side that's still up and it will go down with a push (without breaking anything)...

just wondering if this is normal (or if i got a bad bettery cover or sumthing)...and if you just "click it" into place (ie. it wont break when you do that)..

thanks in advance hope somebody knows what i'm yapping about in my post and can just help me fix this and clarify things thanks!!!

I have experienced the same thing with one of my v3 razrs. If you look on the inside of the battery door, it shows a diagram of how to install the door. You'll see that it actually tells you to push the corners of the door down to click it in place. I'm not sure whether the V3i has the same diagram or not.

i have two razrs, both of which have a battery cover that is slightly "off" on one side...causes no problems, plus i've seen others on here with the same issue...i figured no big deal until something bad happens because of it....i wouldn't worry too much, as long as it stays closed and doesn't appear broken...

found the answer lol! ...you do have to "push" on the corners a bit to get it to fit right...at least i had to anywayz

I also had to push kinda hard to get mine closed. At first it seemed like I had to push "too hard" to get it to go on properly. At least I know the back isn't ever going to fall off.
