Moto V262 "Unable to Charge" message

I often get the message "unable to charge" when I plug my phone, a moto v262, into the charger. Does anyone know why this happens or what I can do to correct it? It gets quite annoying when I have to keep plugging and unplugging it until it finally works.

When this has happened to me, I have usually first plugged the charger into the wall outlet, then connected the charger cord to the phone. It almost never messes up if I connect the cord to the phone first, then plug the charger into the wall outlet.

It's not a big problem. Just clean charging connector pins.
