Help with sending images/ringtones to e815 (searched excessively)

OK before you all flame me, I've searched numerous times for a solution, but no cigar.

I just got an e815 and I must say, I'm very happy with it except for a few things. The problem is that whenever I send an image or ringtone to my phone (from my email), I get a message on the phone that says "this message has attachments that were lost", or something along those lines. I tried .jpg and .gif images but still no luck. So I was hoping that someone could help me out with this.

PS: I have a data cable coming to me in the mail, so...

EDIT: I'm sending the images/ringtones as an attachment, I couldn't figure out how to send them within the message.

ive read that verizon blocks certain attachments from emailing over their network such as .mp3 and some .wav files. i dont know if this is true, but it could be why you cannot receive the files on your phone. once you get your data cable, i highly recommend doing a seem edit to enable obex/data transfers with mpt since its faster, and it saves money :-)

The Image Or File Might Be To Large .. Check Message Set Up / Mms Set Up

Also If You Have A Cable Then You Can Download It To Your Copmputer And Send It From There To Whomever Use Pkman Of Moto4lin.

First of all, thanks for replying guys.

Also, I'm not with Verizon, I'm with Bell Mobility in Canada. And I'll try sending a smaller image, hopefully that'll work. And I couldn't find any relevant setting in the MMS Settings.

EDIT: I just tried lowering the quality of an image, brought it from 17kb>5kb and the attachment was still "lost".
