Chinese Text on Motorola Razr V3i??

hello all...I recently purchased a V3i & I was in the process of charging it...I was planning on going down to the local Cingular shop to have the phone "activated"...I currently have the original Razr...while I was charging the phone (still am), I noticed that the text was in (I believe) Chinese...this may sound stupid to most, but how do I get it to display in English? Maybe i'm overreacting a little, but it was definitely a cause for concern on my part...has anyone had a similiar experience w/this phone?

Settings> Initial Setup> Language> Change it to English?

Why you need CINGULAR STORE to Activate your phone. IF your phone came UNLOCKED and you already have CINGULAR ACCOUNT ... just switch SIM CARD from your old phone to NEW ONE ... what you need ACTIVATION for?

all I have to do is switch sim cards & i'm good to go? nothing else? I thought I would still need to go into the store...if I don't have to, that's friggin' awesome!!

You can download all SETTINGS for Websessions, MMS , WEB and MEDIA thru a website ... just do a search on CINGULAR WEBSESSION SETTINGS. But if you don't know how to do this i guess you have to go to cingular store so they can do these settings for you

That is the whole point of GSM & Sim cards.

Just put it and and your all set!!!

Cingular OTA direct config link for adding MEdianet MMS:

Pick the RAZR and have the files set to the phone from Cintular.

djdownhill, how do I get that on my phone? again, I apologize if this sounds a little uninformed but, do i need to use mpt or anything, or will I be able to just send it to my phone via the #?

Go to the link I posted click on what ever you want sent to your phone and follow the driections. They will be texed to you by Cingular. All you have to do is accept and imput the code given by the Web site.

that's great, thanks alot man...just a little off topic, do you like the V3i so far? mine does have iTunes but i doubt i'll listen to music through my phone much...that's what my iPods are for

that is strange, I never knew the chinese version had itunes, did it come from hong kong or taiwan.

the characters on the MPT CD looked to me to be Chinese, but i'm not sure...right now, the phone is done charging & the screen says "Sac xong" does anyone know what language that is?
