Why is that so unrealistic??? Metal body phone. The V60 was $399-$499 when it was first released. The characteristics of the V60 are much more close to the Razr than that of the pathetic V551 which also has known performance issues.

you will probably get a mid range gsm, maybe x497 or a lg 1500 due to the fact eh v60 didnt have a camera and what it could do compared to what gsm phones can due, but only way youll find out is if you call lock line

Good point on the metal body, but I RAZR is alot more than just metal body. It has camera, dual color displays, etc....

If they give me X497 or LG1500, are they worth the $50 deductable?

they dont take into account how much the phone cost when you bought it or what material the body is made of. they just look at the features and give you a phone with comparable features. i would bet a samsung x497 or lg c1500 as stated earlier.

My bet is the Nokia 6061.

i got a nokia 3560 as replacement for a v60 color. they told me that was my only option as they were required to give me the closest in features to what i had before and the 3560 was the only TDMA phone they still had... after alot of complaining though, i did at least get them to credit back the $50 deductible.

Two weeks ago I got a Moto V557 to replace a V400.

Wow, I would have canceled insurance a LONG time ago with a v60. Can I ask what you were thinking???

LOL, V60 has been my drawer for a long time. A good, solid backup phone though. I have had cell phone insurance since 1997, only used it couple of times to replace my broken backup handsets. May be not worth keeping it, since for the most part they exclude my primary handset anyways.

It's unrealistic because the phone isn't worth what it was purchased in today's market. Want proof, buy it from someone on ebay, not going to sell online for that price.
