Earpiece problem with the SP5

I read a review that said that the SP5 has a problem with the earpiece - basically its very difficult to hear the other person at times.
Has anyone had this problem? Does the 8310 have the same problem?

After about a month with an SP5 and hours using it, no... haven't had that problem. Basically a very solid phone... there is an issue using a bluetooth ear piece... sometimes, the first call doesn't work.
