I downloaded the .DAT file to the mini-SD on my MPX220 to watch with Windows Media player. Will it play on my MPX220? W.Media on my comp. plays it but I am not sure it will on my phone. Can anyone help?

.dat files will not run by dfault on MPx220 thru TCPMP and Windows Media Player, thus you can convert .dat to .mpeg thru VCDGear (Google it) and from .mpeg to .avi thru PocketDivXEncoder.

Instead of converting the .DAT file, just rename it to mpg file. This works for me.

Then converting to a playable format may be your only option.
