My friend got his t730c wet and I dried it out for a week. Now, it boots up fine, his data is still there and it even gets service. Sort of. It connects to the network, and can even update the time from the network, but it dies and makes the phone restart if I try to do something like send a text message, make a call, receive a call or look at the GPS data. Any ideas as to why the service only sorta works and how I could fix it? Thanks!

well for starters his main problem is this:

he has a freaking t730.

other than that, there are a bunch of tutorials around here and other places for what to do when you get your phone wet. Basically, open it up, dry it off, leave it alone for a few days and MAYBE it'll be OK. But, since you tried to use it AFTER it got wet, it's most likely that the internals have started to corrode and the phone will get worse over the next few days and then stop working altogether.

But here's the good news, he can then get rid of that POS phone and buy a new one
