Sharp 903 Hybrid Firmware?

Hello im thinking of flashing my phone. I want Traditiona chinese + read and write (pinyin and stroke) + t9. I also want to play mp3s with mp3 ringtones. (without converting to other files, but leaving as mp3).

Should i go with the taiwan firmware, or should i go with this hybrid firmware that is a TW mix - Euro & HK?

Can anybody review this and recommend? thanks!

Hey...I have a hybrid FW that Bongo did for me a little while ago. Since then, I have been very happy with it. I was able to play mp3 before, but not as ringtones. I couldn't get m4a or AAC files to play either. They flashed it with the hybrid fw and since then all is well in that department. I also did not have the ability for email before but it is now available since the new fw was installed.

In general, I am happy with it. But that is just my preference. Wait for a few other opinions before making a decision.

I have the hybrid and I love it. I reply on T9, and it has mp3 playback which is bomb. I find that the bios is a bit laggy but thats the only problem i have with it.

It does work.. Its jsut that the games included in the firmware dont.

EDIT: Oops.. My mistake, I have tw firmware.. sorry!

Same here. I cant get any java to work. I tried a few versions of Opera and it cant work. Mine is Taiwan firmware hybrid. It shows SX833
