i have e398@ROKR with the BG mostwanted.. its been acting up..i forgot to charge my phone and it died.. it wont turn on.. it wont charge.. i cant get into bootloader mode..the computer doesnt even detect it.. and when i try to power it on.. the phone just flickers..the screen is black.. and the keypad light flashes.. sometime i can get it to turn on but the screen doesnt turn on.. so has anyone had this problem??

if its under a year old just murder it with an electrical shock and get it replaced... a refurbished one is better than a dead one...

have you try to unplugged the battery for several (2-3) minutes then plugin it again?
try that..
then press the button like you want to go to bootloader.
the bootloader won't showed actually, but it does.
plug the cable data then use flashbackup to restore your backup (i assume you have one)

Try removing the battery for a while before plug in the charger and put in the battery after you plug in the charger. Wait for about 1 minutes to see if there's any activity on the phone.
IF there's no activity, do a forced boot method to reflash the phone again or restore a full backup. I assume there's something wrong with the PDS area.

So, I believe the battery is dead. Get a desktop charger and proceed like what I mentioned above regarding forced boot method with a full charge battery if the phone still won't boot up.

do you mean you can't display a charging battery on your phone?
the phone is charging wether it can't display. after you install the battery again, charge your phone and leave it for about 4 hours.
then try flashbackup.
if it won't turn on, i guess you'll have to try force boot method or even testpoint

Please don't get it wrong .. the phone won't charge in BL mode or in 'dead' situation. I've done that ... I believe this is because there is a battery checksum in the PDS .. so when the PDS is not available/corrupted .. the phone won't do any charging.
I forgot to mention ... please hold # and * while inserting the battery and see if there's a bootloader screen showing up. If you get the BL screen, just restore your full backup. Sometimes, the BL screen doesn't shows up but flasher prgs can detect it ... just proceed if this is the case.
