okay havent been on for awhile but i was using pccmod 6fr and decided that the battery consumption was too much (lasted only a day) so i decided to change it back to the 45r. what i did was i used flashback up and motomoders 45r MP. using the flasher feature i jsut flashed the flash option not my phone is dead. how can i revert back to my back up?

i tried several times but it gets stuck on a blank screen. backup loads the bootloader then says erasing memory. i waited for about ten-15 minutes and decided that it wasnt working. so i turned it off. i tried the hard bootloader method using the wires but that didnt work either.. any one with a suggestion, that would be very helpful!

thanks.

The phone will show up as a S Blank Neptune ... use ramldr to restore your full backup.

ps : if you still stuck, PM/YM me while I'm online

okay.. i tried it all .. bootloader, force boot method, even the second method where you plug it into the comp then insert batt and stuff. but nothing worked.

as far as aze2learn, i dunno how i can open the little cover over the phone without scratching, breaking the component board. there must be an easier way.. ill keep on trying but if there is another way please guide me .. thanks.

it keep saying error 10..

whats that?
is there another way to resolve this .. thanks!

1) '10' error in ramldr can be fixed if the bootloader of the phone is intact by doing forced boot method.
Steps:
a) Remove battery, use two needles, crossed it and touch the 4th and 5th pin at the bottom of the phone from the opposite site of the charger, then insert the battery.
b) If the bootloader still intact, the phone will automatically show the bootloader screen.
c) Restore your full backup or reflash it with an MP.

2) if there is no bootloader screen, the only way is to open the phone with T6 torx screwdriver, lift up the steel cover that covers the testpoint with a flat screwdriver to break the solder holding it. Refer to the link I gave you for the cover position during our conversation.

Steps:
a) Connect to ramldr, short the testpoint and put in the battery. Once ramldr shows connected, remove the short, send ldr_2karea.bin (from my special erase ldr) as send ramldr and click erase.
b) The phone should show ACK ERASE within 5-10 seconds. IF ramldr shows '10' after clicking erase then the testpoint is not right .. need to redo again until you get ACK ERASE.
c) Once you get ACK ERASE, change the base addr to 10000000 and click send binary .. choose the 20000only.bin (included in the special erase I gave you).
d) When ramldr shows ADDR 100000008 ... you can restart the phone and see the bootloader screen saying that the memory map is blank.
e) Close ramldr and restore your full backup using flashbackup.

I took nearly 2 hours to do my 1st testpoint procedure. I took that long because I need to break all the solder that hold the steel cover by lifting and rocking the flat screwdriver near the solder. Once it breaks .. no need to put the cover back ...

regards

ps : make sure you have a fully charge battery to do this or you'll end up with 'unknown device' error in windows

thanks
i guess i was hesitant and unsure how i was going to take the cover off. it looked like it was stuck pretty solid in there ..

i guess if thats my ownly option i will try it tonight when i get home.
thanks mr. learn!

i don't know about you're sitch, but when i bricked my phone with the battery low, i turned it off, plugged it in the charger, and let it sit on a flashing white screen. Gave me enough juice to reflash.
