slvr l7 soft key remapping help...

hi gang,
when i first set up the phone i was able to remap the soft keys as well as the main scroll wheel buttons.
however, i can no longer find that function in the phone menu.
i have the cingular branded phone with cingular service.
any help would be appreciated. it was not in the user manual.
