Hi, I've converted a number of 3gp videos and I can't get my 903sh is play it...my 903sh is a EURO fm....

can anyone help me please?

thx

Did you put it in the right place? For .3gp files, you don't put it in the SD_Video folder, it should be in the Videos folder in: Private/Vodafone/My Items/Videos.

yes I did put them in the right place..

I think it's the way I encoded them? because...I can play some videos that other ppl converted..but not the ones that I converted..

are there any limitations to the video like....time? size? framerate? thx

What are you using to convert the videos? I use 3GP Converter and it works like a charm.

yes I use 3GP converter too...which setting do u use for it tho?

and for some reason...when I convert files at the end..it gives me an error msg....

Depending on the version of the 3GP Convertor program, it should have something like SH900i in the list.. use those settings.

Some WMVs just don't work at all and get an error. Is that what you're trying to convert or is it another format?

there's actually a new version out with 903 in the list. wish i could post the link, but i moved to hawaii, and don't have my old computer.

yea I'm using the SH900i but for some reason it gives me a conversion error...right after it has encoded the video 100%

and I'm converting mpg files

The only time I ever experienced this was when I removed the file extension from the video (don't ask me why), for example, I removed the .WMV or .MPG from the end of it and then dragged it.

After I added it again, it worked.

I edited the INI file for 3GP Convertor with my own custom settings for the 903. When I'm at home I can upload it somewhere and give you a link.

i've had a lot of luck with this one; making full screen 3gp vids. http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=3GP_Converter

setting it to "3gpp+aac general setting with xvid enc" has had the best luck for me and then just drag/drop. for vid ringers, i've been using nokia multimedia converter and it's ... well it serves the purpose, but not the BEST conversion ratio.
