Nokia 6620 XBM replacement??

Im having a hard time with my 6620 it will restart its self everyonce in a while and its getting a bit frustrating ... since this model is no longer carried do you think i would get a 6682??
or do you guys still think XBM has some 6620's in stock?

my friend just XBM'ed his 6620 and he just received a refurb with the latest firmware 4.22.0

How can you tell what firmware is on your phone? I might need to do the same.

Mine is a 4.22.01 released on 11/25/04 and I still have problems. Probably, why Cingular stopped selling this phone.

nah they stopped selling it b/c the 6682 came out.

generally speaking, smartphones in general are synonymous with bugs. i don't think any smartphone you find will be bug-free. afterall, they are like small computers

i've had a 6620, 6682, and even a siemens sx56 for a week and this 6682 is by far the most bug-free

i had an unbranded 4.22 6620 and that even still locked up on occasion or rebooted but i havent had one single prlbem with the 6682... it's about as solid as any s40 phone i've had
