P800. T-Mobile and CSD (dial up) connection

Can any of you (Alex, maybe you can help experiment) use the T-Mobile +19132440821 CSD number on the P800 and have it access any WAP pages? I can't get it to work -- it always seems to time out.
Reason it's important for me, is, when I am in countries where GPRS doesnt roam, I want to access my AOL mail via CSD
