Recently I've noticed that most of the sms that I received, have weird received time. Like last nite, I received a sms @ 12:35 am and on the phone its showing 7:36 pm

Does anyone know what the deal is and how that be fixed ???

Something to do with automatic updates from Voda, or synchronizing with Voda or something.

The only way I've found that fixes it is by changing your time zone to London 00:00

This should work, give it a try.

Unfortunately, I live in Houston, USA and using the phone on Tmobile.

anyways, I was wondering...but i'll put a new thread on it, if the sx833 firmware can be used in japan.....and will the auto updates by voda screw it up?

That's great.. but.. that has nothing to do with the fix. Change your time zone to LONDON, no matter what city you're in. Don't worry.. you can still set the time to whatever time it is in Houston, and it will all look normal.

hey thanks!! i was having the same problem too!!, setting the Time Zone to London works , that's strange.. but thanks!
lol maybe you can go into my thread labelled <to be continued> and tell me what's up w/that? haha

Same problem here, will try to change to London and set the time again to see if it still happens. It happens both on my 902 (sx813 firmware) and on my 903 (EU firmware). But then changing to London and adjusting the time would mean the world clock on my phone would be out of sync with the rest of the world and all go wrong right? Does this happen to you all the time cuz it only happens to me once or twice in 10 sms/mms.

no it happend to me for every sms times.. I had mine set i think for like Pacific time, so every sms i got was say 10 am + the pacific time so i got really screwed up times like 2pm, once i put it on london time i got the proper time of 10 am
