HELP! My 2125 is frozen!

I made a mistake in my .xml file for a homescreen and it locked my phone up, i cannot access anything from the start menu... I have tried a hard reset (holding two soft keys and pressing power button ) but I cannot get the damn thing to reset! I have tried removing the battery, sim, etc and cannot get it to work! Can someone please help me! THanks guys
