I screwed up my SLVR L7 - Please help!

I messed up my a\kjava\j2mest file while trying to change the network access permissions. Now I get the error: "The application is out of date" error when I restart the phone and the iTunes key doesn't function. Before I realized what I did, I accidentally overwrote the backup files. Oops.

Anyway, if any L7 owners could send me a copy, I send some good karma your way. I have the Cingular branded version with S/W R4517_G_08.C4.1ER. I haven't been able to find that flash/flex either.

ah..why not just return it to a store....

I'd like to keep the return option for my last resort. I assume attempting to mod the phone voids the warranty, but I guess it would be tough for the sales rep to figure it out without digging. Do you think they would replace it, or can they just reflash it at the store?

And yes ~W~, I know I'm idiot. I still can't believe I did that! Ah well, I'll get it fixed somehow.

Glad to see I'm not the only one who did this.

Just looked at http://www.howardforums.com/showthread.php?t=812081, and it looks like that's the file we need.

Can anybody with a Cingular L7 hook us up? otherwise I'm gonna have to do the return thing.
