Palm Treo700p is coming together in pictures. You wonder what is the P acronym? Well, its for PalmOS, as it seems.

Well it looks like Palm has really got the CDMA bases covered. I wonder which version will be coming to GSM. I am kinda hoping for the WM5 version but Palm is good too.

I just left the Verizon store after comparing the 700w and the Treo 650 and if the 700p has the same display as the 700w, I'll get the 650. The 700w is disturbingly washed out on comparison the the 650.

OK, I just read the article and the display on the 700p is supposedly 320x320 but what about the rumor it will be exclusive to Sprint initially?

I have to makre a decision by the 25th of this month and I'm thinking 650 and let someone else be beta tester.

well if ur hoping verizon will the 700p.. it will not happen.. verizon is sticking with the 700w.... the 700p will prob go to cingular and rogers wirless eventually when sprint has it for a while...so my suggestion is if ur with verizon and need to know by the 25th than go get the 650... if ur staying with verizon

I am running the the FAT32 driver taken from the 700p prototype on my Treo 650.

Much faster card access and 4GB support! It's awesome!

I am going to buy a 4GB card. It should tie me over until Sprint release 700p.

The treo 800 is suppose to be thinner and slicker than the current treos and it's mainly aimed at the european market. If that's the case, I don't think that Sprint will be seeing the treo 800 or that it will even run on POS. IT will most likely be gsm and run on WM5.

the 700p will not have a 240x240 (WM5) screen. 700w has that screen because that is all that that device /software would support.

No one is calling the 800p a "RAZR". It is the Hollywood. No antenna a a little smaller than the 700p will be.

AFAIK.. the 700p will be GSM not CDMA.

But keep in mind MOST of the data regarding the new treos are RUMORS.

All of this data about the up coming treos is speculation at this point. What is known is that Palm announced 4 new treos coming out this year. The 700w already came out, and the 700p has already been shown. That leaves the "Lowrider", which will be 'toned down treo', and the "Hollywood" which is aimed at the eroupean market. Now lets face it, Palm OS doesn't really hold a market in Eroupe so more than likely the Hollywood will be running WM5. I also believe that the Hollywood will be the next Treo to be released
