How do I Force Charge my phone?

I had the misfortune of flashing my mpx200 with a partially discharged battery. Now I get maximum 2 hrs of normal use and about 12 hrs standby. I have read that force-charging the phone can remedy this. I can go into engineering mode and see force charge on the menu in options. There is no indication what I should do after clicking force charge. Anyone knows what to do? When I click on force charge the menu returns to the main engineering mode screen and I dont know whether I should connect a charger on the phone before or after clicking on force charge. Any help will be appreciated.

i dunno where people get that from but it doesn't work like that. The phone reads the battery as half full if it's half full after a flash. The new ROM (WM2003SE) is what's using more power than the previous 2002 rom. If you read properly before you upgraded you would have seen that's an issue people are having with it.

Now, you can however kill the phone, talk on it or let it standby till it shuts off by itself. charge it up fully, kill it again, charge it fully, then kill it, after that your battery should be decently "conditioned" but it wont help much. The new rom uses more processes which uses more processor power which then uses more battery.
