im looking for a new phone and i have been debating if i should get either the w800i or the k750i i know they are practically the same. but now the news of the new 810 and rumored wilma k800. should i wait? or should i buy now

Well you could wait and get the 810, or wait and get the 800 (it may drop in price one the 810 is released).

Depends how much cash you have laying around, if you have enough to get the new phones then wait a couple of months and buy the new ones. If you're strapped for cash and can only afford the w800/k750 then get one of those.

the new ones are going to be expensive...probably $500+ like all new phones that come out...
if you can get a k750/w800 now...and that keeps you happy for a year...you can pretty much get two old phones for the price of one new one

Wait till the W810i comes out. Prices for the K750i/w800i will drop down by $50-$70 USD.

if you don't use internet much/at all and don't use 850MHz much/at all, I see no reason to get the w810i. If I was in that position I would wait for the release of the w810i and scoop up a w800i or k750i on the cheap as someone mentioned above.

However, if you use the internet and/or 850MHz much, I would spend the money on the w810i like I am going to. I could deal without quad-band but gprs is SO SLOW I need EDGE ASAP.
