Blackberry 957 question

Hello,
Someone just gave me a Blackberry 957 (One of the old Mobitex Blackberrys).
Can I activate this with Rogers still?

Best thing to do would be to call them and find out. According to Mobitex.org, Rogers still operates its old mobitex network, but the Rogers website is currently advertizing Blackberry devices that operate on GSM. My guess is they'd much rather have you get a 7280, which is the same form factor as a 957, features a color screen and integrated cell phone, and can be had on a new contract for CDN$49.99
Wow I haven't seen a 850/950 series device in years!
